Imo, it takes 250 of the mediums--maybe more--at least if you have short hair and want a full look. I basically have very little of my real hair left, and I'd probably use 300 of the medium extendtubes, no joke. They're so tiny.....
ok amm thats what i thought but really, i didnt make them to thick i made sure i didnt take alot of hair,, i guess i need to make them thinner than what i am. o my goodness thats gonna take all day i dont no how you do it.. Is it true that it takes about 250 strands to do the whole head.
hahaha.. no i had to go look though.. that was a good thought though.. maybe its just the hair.. OK but i have a nother problem i cant fit my tips into the little rings o and i have the medium ones... what am i dping wrong? i cut about maybe 1/8" or less off the weft and then try to make ... key word try? anything please...
Well, the Hollywood stuff is a fast-drying nail glue, so theoretically the results should be the same. But perhaps you're having different results because of the amounts of glue and LG you used and the curing time. Or maybe the glue itself is slightly different.
I don't think anyone wants you not to post anymore, Emma. I think we're all just trying to perfect these techinques, and sometimes it can be frustrating and confusing for all of us. I don't think anyone meant any disrespect.
Anyway, Emma, it sounds like your shrinkies worked well anyway, which, ultimately, is what's most important. :)
I didnt put the glue on the hair, as I said in my post, I put it on the tip. In a past post someone said that putting nail glue on the TIP would make the LG hard and no longer tacky, I didnt notice a difference, but maybe thats because I waited 3 days before I put them in and they had time to cure completely. All Im doing is relating my experience with LG and tipping.
If you want to post or simply read that's your decision.
I'm just wanting to know what possible type of nail glue a person can put on hair and it does absolutely nothing. I find it impossible to believe it did not stick or adhere or harden the hair or anything because all the nail glue I've ever used definitely did *something*.
Maybe you don't notice a difference because you only put the nail glue over the bond (???). I put a drop of nail glue where the hair and LG meet. This way a tiny bit of nail glue gets on the hair is what does the trick and it's totally noticable when you feel/look at the pieces.
Broadway Nails Jet Dry Nail Glue. I had 130 tips sitting on my desk, I put nail glue on a dozen, after 24 hours I couldnt tell which ones had nail glue and which ones didnt.
Im not going to get into a competition with you Amm about who knows more about extensions. Im only relating my personal experience with what Ive tried so far. Ill just go back to reading the posts.
I find it completely imposterous to believe that you put nail glue on hair until the point it ran down it and that there was NO difference between the hair with nail glue and the hair without.
Yes I used LG then I just dripped some nail glue over the tip and kinda let it run down the tip. I only did this to about a dozen pieces and I didnt notice a difference between the ones I put it on and the ones I didnt.
