I'll post a photo with a shrinkie and a microring next to these tips so you can see the size diff. I'll come back and just put an edit on this post.

Those look gorgeous, AMM--very nice and uniform.

This may sound like a dumb question, but how does the lengths of the tips compare to the length of the shrinkies. I'm figuring the tips are maybe twice as long (I may be totally off on the scale here).

I'm asking primarily because with the few shrinkies (and microrings, for that matter) that I've applied, I've made the tips longer than the length of the rings/shrinks, and I'm just sort of wondering how much the tip should stick out at the bottom. Originally, I thought they should be the same length as the shrinks/rings, but the tips have never looked that short when I've seen them, so I made them longer.

Am I doing this right? If you could give me an idea of the ratio, that would be great. Thanks! :)

Amm, I cant say Ive ever seen Liquid Gold turn black or turn black hair tips yellow. But I have notice if you handle the bond too much when its drying. Rolling too much, touching too much it has turned white-ish looking instead of clear on blonde hair. So on darker hair Im thinking it may appear yellow-ish?

These photos are of three different colors of hair. I made this stick hair using only Liquid Gold. There is nothing else on them.

I don't know why people have reported it turns their blonde hair black and I don't know why another had their black hair turn yellow.

I just took these photos and all my hair turns out the same way. The Liquid Gold dries and reveals the true color of the hair underneath. Always. I have never had any other result. Kristin, have you had any other result than what I've pictured?

To the left is solid blonde, the middle is a blend of blondes and to the right is a blend of browns. As you can see, the LG shows the real hair color underneath.

To those reporting all these unusual colors you're getting with Liquid Gold application, please post your photos.
