Yup- I've used the proclaim glue for both wefts and for individual bonds but u will have to coat the bond with a hard drying glue as over time the bond melts and extensions tend to stick together.

I was worrying that because the Latex was kinda rubbery that they wouldn't hold up under the shrinkie and that if you pulled your hair too hard then they would sort of spring out, I'll keep you posted xxx
Well fingers crossed but no more have come out so maybe the latex is a winner. The ones that have come out as well, the tips are still in tact so that can only be a good thing xx
It's funny: I did my boyfriend's hair with shrinkies this weekend, and two have come out already (I only put in about 30 or so). He does put tons of pomades and waxes in his hair, though, so that's probably the reason. I also think I didn't cook some of them long enough. :)
Well chicks, I'm hoping I've not made a boo boo, here's me raving on about this latex glue. The girl I did with LG and nail glue, she hasn't had one shrinkie come out, yet the girl I did on Saturday and did with latex and nail glue, she's texted me last night and said she had had two come out already, I'm thinking sugar. She did have 22inch though so maybe its the length, I'll keep you posted. xxx

Hi there everybody, I tipped all my hair with latex and then applied nail glue over the whole tip and also between the tip and the extensions hair so that the latex didn't leak into the hair or anything when it was applied with the shrinkies. it worked fine and I found it a lot quicker and less messy than using liquid gold xx

Amm - I only bought the white stuff and tipped hair colour 16 last night, it dried clear but if I put too much on it stayed a whitish colour. It dried really fast but stayed rubbery and very pliable. I then tried to put nail glue on the top of it, although it worked because it has a certain quantity of latex in it it resisted the nail glue, it was like waterproof. I put a second coat of nail glue on and it was fine. Because of the shape of the nozzle it was really easy to apply to the "fanned" hair and I could do the very tip with ease. I'm going to try one tonight under a shrinkie and then take it out and see how the residue is then post back.
Regarding "fanned", I thought I had got that off you LOL, how funny is that, we must be psychic LOL xx
Gooey, thats what I liked about latex...lol...it gets gooey and combs right out. The LG I had to work harder to get out and was still combing it out after a couple of days. I havnt tried acetone with LG yet, but its on my list of things to try.
That said, Im not sure about the durability of latex for tipping tho. Latex is only supposed to be used on a short term basis anyway. Im not sure if adding the nail glue will have as much affect as when you use nail glue on LG. Yet another thing to add to the growing list of experiements

Em you really think the latex comes out easier than LG? Have you ever tried acetone to remove LG? Thats what I use, I dont use the oily remover. Ive always thought latex was a nightmare to remove. It gets so gooey and messy.
Ive tried gluing wefts in with latex and LG and I have to say that the latex came out easier and less painfully than the LG did. An oily remover works on both but it seems to work faster and better with the latex.
Proclaim is latex and water which is considered a soft bond adhesive. LG has no latex in it and is considered a hard bond adhesive because it lasts longer.
Sally's Beauty Supply Store carries it, thats where I get mine.
Im glad to hear it works out so well, I have 2 bottles of it sitting on my desk now that I didnt know what to do with and I didnt want to order LG again.
Ive heard the white dries clear? Ive never tried the white just the black but Im going to go back to a medium brown color when I do my extensions next time so if it does dry clear that would be super.
Sounds cool. But does it dry the black and white color? That's a problem for any application where the bond shows through like fusion, shrinkies and even microrings if the bond peeks under the ring a little bit.
I like the way you said you fanned the tip for application. That's something I always do but never could find the right word to describe. Thanks for that - it gives even more clarification for self-tippers.
Now, about removal. How does this Proclaim Super Bond come out of the hair?
(Just did a web search and it looks like it might be a real task to find for us in the states.)
