yes there is a color chart....if you go to www.hairextension.name look at the top of the page just down under where it says Remy cuticle hair. I am not necessarily positive its "cuticle" hair, although they say it is I dont know enough to verify that but I will say Ive been using this hair for almost 2 years now and Im pretty satisfied. I pay around $65 per bundle of 4 oz. Ive paid as little as $55 and as much as $75 per bundle. Which is including all the fees. They seem to charge me differently depending on the size of my order, well it also depends on how I pay (western union or telegraghic transfers charge different prices depending on the dollar amount of the transfer) I know I could spend WAY more money and get somewhat better hair...but I think for the price & quality that I get, this hair is good enough for me!

I can purchase it in 'stick' tip also. I'm getting ready to place an order in about another week. If anyone is interested let me know. the website of the hair I use is www.hair21.com The website is a little confusing you just have to really look around. If you look at the top of the webpage under hair extensions, then under remy cuticle hair on the next page thats where you'll find it. This hair is pretty decent quality and very reasonably priced, but I have to order in bigger quantities to get it . I have been pretty happy with the hair and Im not spending a small fortune either. Right now its the Korean holiday of Lunar New Year, so they are on Holiday until Feb 14th. So I will be placing an order as soon as they are back to work!

This is a description of what they say the hair is:
From hair21's website:
Item: Cuticle Hair-Dyed
[ Remy Cuticle Single Drawn Hair in Dyed colors
-Silky Straight
( Remy Hair with 100% Cuticle in Dyed colors)
Using this "Remy Cuticle Single Drawn Hair in dyed
colors", we produce Pre-glued Extension Hair
( such as "Stick Hair" and "Nail Hair" shown in
www.hairextension.name)

I think you're going to have a hard time getting shoelace-tipped hair that's better quality than GLs, frankly. I've heard Extensions Plus has really high-quality hair, but I've never purchased from them. If the cost doesn't bother you and you're not experiencing any damage, you might want to stick with GLs. But the savings with DIY shrinkies and pretipping would be substantial.

Let's say you spent $300 on hair, $100 on the heat clamp, $10 on some Liquid Gold, $30 on the shrinkies, $5 on a needle, $2 on a template, and $3 on some nail glue. That's $450, and you'd have supplies to spare. If the hair held up well, you could even use it again. Now with GLs (and I don't know how much you're paying), but I was paying almost $2500 each time. So the difference can be striking. If you're paying a more reasonable price, though, it may be worth it to you to stay with the method you're using.

Alternately, I know Sherrie purchases some prebonded hair from overseas at very reasonable prices. If you want to do your own fusion, she may be able to hook you up. Good luck! :)

takes a few hours to tip them all yourself. it can also save you over $100 (and in the cases of high quality human hair - much more) and you can control the quality of the hair better

so i have not posted in a while (i am hellokitty2 i forgot my password for a while:) ) but i wanted to say what i found about shrinkies....
i really love them!!! i did not like the hair i got with them from from drlocks(cheap hair) but i loved the shries it self stayed in through color washings, swimming, surfing, hot tubs, condtioner ect.. i still love the great lenghts method because there hair matches mine well, but i love the way shrikies goes in and out... if anyone does of hair that has the shoe lace tip and is as good as geat lengths in quality let me know... oh it needs to come in a variety of shades in blond as use 3 to 4 different shades of highlift blonde to make it look more natural. i know i could pre tip it myself b ut it sounds really time consuming!!!!
