No matter what I do, the search is telling me I have an invalid format i.d. whatever that means.. Listen, don't worry about it.... I'm just going to order some and give it a try. That's the real point isn't it.... you can send someone off in the right direction but basically we're all on our own. Big Kudos. christina

Bridget, that's because fabric softener has dimethicone in it. When I was in school we'd use conditioner in the wash occasionally if we were out of snuggle or whatever. If you were going to use it on your hair you would definitely want to dilute it at least 2:1.
Some guy from proctor & gamble came and gave a lecture about shampoo and whatnot when i was in school..... christina
back to topic, I've done a basic search and come up flat, but having my attention drawn to the search options (ahem..... no embarassment here) I'm sure i'll find it all soon enough. Thanks amm. c.

I tried to start a new thread, but for some reason it said I was banned from starting new threads??? I can't even get an email over to this site... huh... don't know!!

However, I did want to add that before we took our doll heads to state board for the test, we used fabric softner on the heads to keep the hair super managable and soft and silky feeling...
I noticed a lot of questions for the care instructions for synthetics... I don't know what it would be like walking around with the smell of downy on your head, but just thought I'd add the info!
It is what it is...

Did ya try that search button on the top right of your screen? I'm not sure if you can search for my name and shrinkies at the same time but I think you have to put the option of setting the date back as far as it will go and to choose the entire message and not just the subject line.

I try to stay on topic in a thread so I even think a manual check of the topics will get ya a lot of info.

Hey Amm, can you tell me how to find your links discussing shrinklocs? you've really got me hooked on adding them to my bag of tricks and I want to read your old posts regarding them.
Sorry I'm a big computer moron, can you tell me how to check out your old posts?
Thank you thank you thank you. Also, I wanted to add, that doing your own extensions long term is really something to be proud of. Take back your hair from your hairdresser.... that's what I think. Christina
