Wear the suit doll, you would look great. That is one sharp attractive pants suit. I like the white color of it. Or try the top with a skirt,- a skirt in white or black or dark blue. That would be attractive on a beautiful woman.

Nice suit Super Grover. I like the white pinstripe look. I do have to agree with the article Lyris posted though. Better conservative, at least in the business world. I like your idea of wearing a nice fashion scarf Tina. I often do that. It really adds to the femininty of your look without being too flasy. It is a good addition.
Goldmember is right! -(tee hee hee!)-. As Austin Powers would say, "Awful, bloody awful! I would never "shag" a woman who would wear such a ghastly, shiny thing!"
You think Austin would actually utter a sentence beginning with "I would never shag a woman..."??!!?!?!

LOL Everyone knows The Love Boat. It's one of those major mistakes of mankind that future generations will have to deal with. You know, oil spills, nuclear power, The Love Boat.
I think that is a very cool and classy white suit. Whether it is right for a job interview? depends upon the job.
If you feel the suit is TOO much white, add a dark colored-(maybe navy blue or black)- chiffon or silk neckscarf, just for a little contrast and something other than just bright white in color.
It's on the other side of the Hudson, in Orange County NY, close to the NYS thruway. I made my first trip there about 13 years ago, back when I lived somewhat close to where I imagine you are (I lived in S. Salem then). It wasn't a bad trip from where I was.
Designer outlets ROCK. The clothes are not dirt cheap, but the prices are good for the labels.
I bought an absolutely stunning suit at the Jones of NY outlet a few weeks ago. It's navy, but the jacket is collarless with a zipper instead of buttons, and that's just enough deviation from the norm to make it interesting and less stuffy.
Even though it's a petite, the pants are still too long (grrr) so I bought some nice high heels to go with it.
SG, have you been to Woodbury Commons? It might be an hour drive for you, but it's oh so worth it, just for Jones and Kasper alone! Not to mention Coach. Be still my wallet!
The Limited has some really nice suits on sale right now...I found a black/white pinstripe for 70 percent off...unfortunately it didn't come in tall and looked ridiculous!

Thanks guys! It's a puzzlement. I do feel like the suits I have already are too conservative. I feel the need to have a suit with a little more 'pop' to it. But not too much, obviously. Don't want to look like a circus clown.
I have a hunch that I'd feel awkward wearing that white suit in fall or winter... Hmmmm.
Oh, I have checked out J Crew... those are nice, but not quite what I have in mind. Need more pop than that. Maybe I can get to the mall this weekend. Ug. Mall prices.

SG, the suit is lovely and since you're in a creative field, it's not necessarily taboo to wear white or ivory.
However, my personal feeling is that it's wise to err on the side of conservative when you are seeking employment. Better to play the game and get the job, THEN wear whatever you want later on. Just my opinion.
