Julia Stiles new do

Gord, Bean, and All...

Do people post pics of themselves in here? Or would it be more appropriate to go to the General Hair board to do that? It would be cool to have you all vote on what kind of style would flatter my face.

I`ll work on it. I have to find a pic with my hair at its longest before I started gradually trimming it. Then my most recent photos are while camping and backpacking, so you can guess the hair has had no styling `assistance`. I hid under a hat for the last trip. :) Thing is, I am majorly camera shy, so unphotogenic it depresses me to see myself. Even friends and family say I don`t photograph well. So I gotta let down the guards and my hang up first; plus be okay with the idea of posting pics of myself on the net, which sounds kinda scary.

Anybody else feel this way?

But back on topic, Julia is attractive and I think her new cut draws more attention to her face. I didn`t know about the middle part vs. side part. All I knew is that a middle part draws a straight visual line to the nose. I am thinking that the hair that falls down in front of her cheeks would actually serve to give the illusion of longating her face, if it is in fact more of a round shape. Her long hair looked great too though.

But now I'm thinking if that cut would flatter me as much as it does her, I have 2 inches shorter to go. I dunno. I've had people say I look a lot like Mariah Carey. Saw it! Wow, what a difference, huh?! I thought that girl was all hair, it was so long and thick! I think she looks effortlessly sexy and spunky with her new `do. I recently chopped my waist length hair into a layered bob at my chin. I wanted something like Julia has now but didn`t know how to describe it either. Someone on the general board advised me to bring in pictures rather than finding the terms to describe it. So I`ll say the same now...make sure you bring that issue of Marie Claire when you go to get your new `do!
