I saw Shania tonight at the beginning of the Country Music Awards, and I guess she had extensions in, because her hair was down to her waist. I couldn`t help but think, when they did a fairly close-up shot of her face, that she reminded me of a younger version of Crystal Gayle. I don`t know if it was just the hair, but the shape of her face and her eyes really reminded me of Crystal. Just my opinion. Anyone else notice it. BTW, has anyone heard anything about Crystal Gayle in the last while. Haven`t seen her on the Tv in ages. I hope she still has her long mane.

Just saw Shania on the Parkinson tv show, even allowing for the curl, her hair was just below shoulder length. Seemed to have a lot more layers as well.

There`s a photo of Shania on Yahoo`s entertainment photo section from yesterday (October 6), but I can`t get the direct addess to it. Her hair is curly and to her waist! Gosh, I hope none of it is extensions, but what are the odds? I`m just glad to see Shania in public again!

I love the length, and it might look even better if it were completely straight. With the increase in length over the last while, I wonder if she has any ideas about trying for Crystal Gayle territory.

Actually, in the first picture, it looks more like a loose part, rather than down the middle.

Wow, it has gotten so long, just before she went on haitus she had cut it to her shoulders. It looks soooo long, I love it!!

Can anyone see what band that is on her t-shirt?? (first pic) Real curious!

Ugh. Yes, she looks good, but I am so tired of that center-parted, no-bangs, straight-down look. IMHO it makes every person who tries it look heavy and frumpy and severe and just kind of weighted down. Very unflattering. Seems like every star has to try this look once, and Shania, being out of the spotlight for a while, is just a bit late to the party.

Still, she`s hot as always, and I`m sure she`ll play around with hairstyles quite a bit in the coming months. Just hope some of them involve a little more lift, some layers, and maybe even an off-center part...
