wow. that's very much not a wig. It looks like she dyed the peach fuzz around her face black too and it gives her a ring around the hairline. O_O Unless of course she took mascara to that hair. (I've done a similar thing when wearing a black wig)

Woah. She looks sooo much better now. So much more natural. It was hard with the old look to see thru it - she does have some pretty features, but the old look was just an eyesore, and took away from this. I hope she keeps the new look.
I think Christina looks just wonderful on that new look. It�s much more peronal and gives here an edge her voice already is showing. I encourage everybody to do their own thing, celeb or not! Go Girl!

I don't like it. It's too dark on her, way darker than her natural color. I think she would look good in a medium or light brown not this awful black color. Mandy Moore and Britney's color looks good because the color isn't too dark and is very close to their natural color

Little mountain girl, I agree with you. It does not look good pulled that tight against her head, maybe if she cut some bangs into that high forehead it would lok better. Maybe I am used to the hair extensions or Christina got some hair trimed, it looks shorter, the color is ok I like it better than the platium blonde fake hair look, but I to think a lighter color may have looked better on her, like a choclate brown or just a lighter shade of black. But I have to give her credit for having the curage to go so dark at once. Its kinda weird how all of a sudden all the fake blondes are going dark, it all started with Katherine Heigl last year, who looks good no matter the lenght or color, she cut her hair short last year and dyed it black and looked hot but she looked hot as a long haired blonde as well. As for Christina I think Mandy Moore was her and Britneys inspraition for the color change.
i dont think i like those pictures at wireimage at all of christina. I dont know exactly what it is about the new style, but i just dont like it. I dont like the color on her.... it seems too dark, i think i would have liked a nice soft milk-chocolatey brown better. The style doesnt really work, either, in my opinion.... Maybe i would like it better if it wasnt so pulled off of her face, or if it was curled a bit.....
One thing that really surprises me is that Christina Aguilera seems to be keeping a lower profile with her new look, then usual. Normally, when a celebrity gets a "transformation" they seem very eager to show it off any chance they get, and I've found that there is just not many good quality pictures of Christina with her new 'do yet..... I think her hair looks good from what i can tell, but I would love to see it in a photo with better lighting, and in one that is actually in clear focus. I do think that the darker hair makes her look like a completely different person, and i also think she has put on a little weight (which isnt a bad thing...)
No one's mentioned the most striking aspect of those TV pics - she's wearing jeans! I've never been so happy NOT to be able to see a woman's legs. What a relief to see her at least reasonably covered up, not spilling out of every crevice of some ridiculous, threadbare outfit. If this is the beginning of a new, more demure and sophisticated Christina, I'm all for it.
Does look good. Makes it even more obvious she has no eyebrows though (does that look work for ANYONE btw?). Anyway, I find this interesting for two completely different reasons:
1) She had just shown up at several events with her black streaks/extensions removed, giving her the solid platinum look, which was actually quite attractive. I'd forgotten how nice a single color could look on her. Now it makes me thinks she may have been half-way through double-processing her hair.
2) She had actually mentioned doing this (going brunette) a year or two ago. I remember something about it being against the advice of her management, who apparently won out back then. I had forgotten completely about it until she showed up with the dark hair.

I though that Christina looked really good as a blonde but she also looks good as a brunette.
As a blonde she looked like she was a northern European, becuase she is fair skinned. But she isn't northern European, she is Hispanic. Now that she is a brunette, she does look Hispanic. Isn't it amazing what a change in hair color can do! She looks like a different person!
