Another reason for the masquerade? "Nick loves her long hair, so that's why we don't cut it."
I really like Jessica's new style. She gets better style-wise. But as for that hair (shoulder length) with red streaks, I read it in US Magazine saying that it's a wig with extensions so that way her real hair won't be snipped. She can afford very best and expensive realistic looking extensions and wigs.
I think she should do what she wants not her husband or mom. Neither of them have to feel like a child whit no say in the way they wear there hair, so why should Jessy? I say she should just go out one day to her salon and tell her stylist to cut and style her hair the way she wants. Something tells me if she did she would walk out of there with shoulder lenght or shorter hair, just from the way she has been wearing her hair lately. Then we have Britney Spears mom who forced her to cut her hair and change the color, it looked the best her hair has ever looked and yet Brit could not handel looking like a normal person as oppopsed to a **** like now. Evey thing about britney is so fake.

Yes, and these moms always happen to be their daughters' stylists as well. See also: Knowles, Beyonce. I could not do that. I just couldn't. I can't even go shopping with my mom, let alone have her do my hair. And I consider my relationship with her to be quite healthy.

She was at Mcdonalds for a charity thing, plenty of pics on wireimage with her long hair, what bothers me is you could see her roots on the wig so if that was a wig why did it look so real? I think some one should tell Nick that if his wife wants to cut her hair she should be allowed, she wouldd look better with the shoulder lenght cut she was wearing.

Thats the best style I've seen her in in a long time. I had a feeling she was think of going shorter. Any time they wear there hair so it looks like it was cut usually after a few months the chop it. Some thing tells me this is just the start of many more hair cuts like Alexis Bledel has done.
