It is chestnut and combed across her forehead. Longish at the sides and back. Quite formal, which she is.

I think she is one of those women suited to short hair. I can recall when she started to grow it out and it got to between her chin and shoulders - it didn't work for me & thankfully she quickly chopped it off again.
Haven't seen any recent pictures though - I think she's been off air having her second child
