You can paint over the steaks using a color slightly lighter than your natural color. A medium ash brown should neutralize the red tones. You probably didn`t leave the color on long enough so it didn`t get all the red tones out. Or if your hair is very dark, store bought colors won`t be able to take it all the way to blonde. In the future, do a narrow test strand first before hairpainting all over.
I hairpainted my hair with loreal`s hairpainting hoping for some blonde highlights in my brown hair and instead it turned out orange gold and brassy looking, I look like a skunk! I hate it what can I do to correct it?
