thanks guys... i actually live in amsterdam so i am hoping that they sell colorfix. i will go look in the store today, im going to london next week so maybe they sell it... is it by a particular company?
If you don't want to remove all the color from your hair, you can just use a brown dye with a green base to counter the red. Use one a little lighter than what you actually want, because sometimes they come out black.

Personally, I love red/auburn hair (which is what I have), but I can understand wanting something new and different. If you want to remove the red you will need to use ColorFix. It will remove all the color so don't be alarmed when your hair turns orange or yellow. The instructions for removal are very easy and it not damage your hair. You should be able to re-introduce your new color. You can get ColorFix at Sally's. Good luck. :)
help! ive been dying my hair for a couple years. ive always stuck to the auburn colours. but now i am sick to death of them! i tried dying my hair brown but the red is so persistant that it just wont come out of my hair. is there any shampoo that takes the red tinge out? if not whats your advice on trying to go to a hazelnut brown? carey
