Hi, I have very thick curly hair also and I went to my stylist to see if I should get a perm. Because my hair was so dry at the time he said that it would damage my hair beyond repair. I would probably loose a lot of my hair. So I opted not to get it and got some long layers in my hair and now it is curlier just by doing that. You might want to try that. Michelle

Hi i have thick and naturally curly hair. My hair is so thick that it weighs down and out the curl. I love it when it is curly though(only when its wet or when i scrunch it). I`m thinking about perming it so it will be curly all of the time. Does anyone know if this will work or not? What if i thinned my hair out a little bit(which ive been doing)? if you have any advice please let me know! THANKS!
