jus some advice, when i dont want lines on my head i dont wrap the straps around twice. i jus pull em back tight as i can then tie it like im tyin my shie

so u gonna gro it out or leave it short?

I want deep and thick but it depends on my hair texture and also how long my hair grows.

A friend of mine has hot wavez. I asked him how he got it like that and he said he just brush but I didn't believe him. So I started asking some more questions and he was having a hard time answering (it was questions like how long you brush, do you brush it wet..same questions on this post, etc). Anyway he gave up and told me that he uses a womens product that is a lotion not a pomade or grease. He said he just put it in his hair and brush til his hair gets thick then gets a cut and he's spinning. He didn't wanna tell me that he uses what the women use and told me not to tell anyone LOL. I might buy it then try it out for a couple months...BUT DON'T TELL NOBODY LOL.

He just said durag it, he ain't say when. But I know the durag keeps your hair laid down so maybe he meant during the day too. I use stocking cap and take it off like every 30min and brush for like 20min then put it back on. I keep repeating that all day whenever I got time

ur supposed to wash your hair everyday.

water do work really well, like especially if you wet up a soft brush and start brushin that works

water is always good....but wen ur hair starts growin 2 a certain level, juss usin juss doesn't cut it.....n unless u hav a hair texture that letrs ur hair remain flat FOR THE WHOLE DAY not juss wen u juss come out of the shower, then u gonna hav 2 use SOMETHING to keep it down
