HI, I'M 14 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE VERY SHORT (2CM EACH STRAND), DRY, WAVY HAIR AND I'M HATE IT!!! I TREATED MY HAIR WITH A LARGE SORT OF PRODUCTS TO REDUCE THE NEVER-ENDING FRIZZ BUT NOTHING WORKS. I'M USED ZERO-FRIZZ HAIR SERUM, PANTENE PRO-V SMOOTHING CREME, CLAIROL VITAPOINT, PRO VITAMIN STRAIGHT-OUT SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND WITH ALL OF THEM IS THE SAME STORY: I CLEANSE AND CONDITION MY HAIR AND APPLY THE PRODUCT AND THE HAIR TURNS CURLY, FRIZZIER AND LOOKS MORE DRY THAN BEFORE!!! AND THESE IS'NT ALL: WHEN I BLOWDRY THE HAIR LOOKS DULL AND REMAINS WAVY, FRIZZY AND ROCK-HARD. NOW I'M TREATING MY HAIR WITH MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONERS BUT NOW IS WORST MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE A CLOWN WIG!!! I'M CONSIDERED USE A RELAXER BUT WHEN I READ THE PROBLEMS THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE WHEN USED A CHEMICAL STRAIGHTENER, MY MOTHER SAID NO, NO AND NO.
MY PROBLEM IS VERY SERIOUS AND I'M NEEDING THE HELP OF A PROFESSIONAL OR A PERSON THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
BEST WISHES, CHARLES
Ive got a great solution for your problem charles! First of all, you cant wash your hair out everyday because when you wash your hair out everyday it dries your hair out and it makes it really frizzy. I wouldnt try so many products in your hair all at once because when you do this it just takes all the moisture out of your hair and your left with very dry hair. Yes you can try a relaxer, but use it at your own risk, sometimes when people put to many chemicals in there hair before a relaxer, there hair ends up falling out. Good Luck!

hey charles, i have the same problem, my hair is wavy-curly very dry and gets frizzy sometimes. i had a theory and it works great:
the longer your hair is, the best. since the ends of the hair are the problem, the ends are the ones that get frizzy and messy and they take up to an inch long. so if you hair is an inche long then you will have a furball instead of hair.
all you have to do is let it grow, it looks really cool when long. let it grow until it reaches your nose or mouth, then the frizz will be not noticeable since only the last inch of an 6 inch long wavy hair will be almost unoticeable

It sounds to me like you have over-processed your hair. You didn`t damage it overnight, so you won`t be able to fix it over night.--no more funky products. Try to keep your hair short to keep the frizz to a minimum and use healthier products on your hair more than chemicals. Just a plain no - nonsense shampoo and conditioner--something gentle for now--Johnson`s comes to mind.

I have some before and after pics of myself that will blow you away!
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area I can even hook you up with a free consultation with the stylist who did this on my hair. Beware! it`s a bit pricey, but VERY well worth every penny!
