Thanks for the replies, everyone. I didn`t get any layers - when I posted this topic, I was a bit depressed and in a "shave it all off and forget about growing it long" mood. Thank goodness I didn`t do it!
After reading your post again I realized some of my tip`s would not work,Sorry, And also, if you are growing your hair out you definitely do not want to layer it. I did and now im waiting for it to get longer so i can cut the leyers off! What you should do is wait and look into a few up do`s to keep it out of the way becuase you`re hair will look gorgeous in just a few weeks, I promise
No layers!!! Use these tip`s they might help, thay`ll also make your hair look really good!!
1-going out (with friends)- after you take a shower run John Frieda "Relax" (or any other mousse) through your hair. then brush and put it in a head band. when its dry you will have no-frizz ringlets. i promise.
2-hanging around- secure well-brushed hair in a medium-high ponytail. then twist hair around to form a bun. secure with a small-medium hair scrunchie (wrap scrunchie 2 to 3 times around). (note-this will fall out when running)
3-going out (fancy)- after spraying Pantene Spray-In conditioner in your hair, brush (no part). then gather the top half of your hair into a half ponytail. secure with hair-rubber-band. then tie a pretty silk ribbon (red, white, or blue looks best if your hair is dark) around the half-ponytail. when your hair dries you will have controlled ringlets in a pretty style.
i have layers and my hair is really curly underneath but on top is straight.i think layers is really good my hair is also long though.i don`t know about your hair.
It really depends on how your hair takes the layers. For me, layers still didnt get rid of my pyramid head but it did help out alot because I have very very thick hair.
I have 3c type, dry, somewhat frizzy chin-length hair. Right now, it`s in a blunt cut because I`m growing it out. The thing is, it puffs out a lot because it`s short and curly, and I have the "pyramid head" thing going on! Would layers help get rid of this or make it more puffy?
