Hello,

I, too am in the same boat with you. I use two salon products that absolutely work wonders...take a stop at your local salon and give these a try-

Stick Straight Shampoo and Conditioner, also a bottle of gel.

Glass drops.

These both just do WONDERS for my hair. They make it sooo easy to style. Also, if you're looking to ever get it straight, invest in a very large round brush, diffuser, and ionic blowdryer. It's the quickest way to straighten hair.

Best of luck!

Hi Christie, i too have fine but curly and very frizzy hair so i know where you're coming from. it's such a misconception for people to think curly haired tresses are easy to manage. in reality, i think we spend more time worrying about frizzies than anyone with straight hair. even so, i still love my hair.

Few questions, when you blow dry your hair, do you use a real diffuser? you know, the bowl shaped one with "fingers"? if not, i suggest you get one immediately and use this to dry your hair, on LOW. i started using L'Oreal Smooth Intense shampoo and conditioner and love the results. it's moisturizing to my dry hair and is gentle on my color. Also use the Frizz-Ease smoothing cream (it's in a pump bottle) lightly comb it thru and use the Tresseme mega hold gel (black tube). the Frizz-Ease cream won't make it straight, it just helps to smooth the cuticle, lessening the frizziness. i love the Tresseme gel because it is alcohol free and is not too heavy for my fine hair but enough to weigh it down a little; it doesn't leave my hair crispy and they have several different holds to choose from.

Never be afraid to combine two products, even from different lines. You may want to consider a wax or pomade, they provide great hold without that crisp look. if you don't already have a diffuser, get one for sure, this makes a huge difference. Also, a side note. When you get out of the shower, only lightly squeeze the excess water out of your hair. Excess towel drying can encourage frizzies.

Good luck!

Hi, I am new here and am having major problems, which I have constantly had all my life. I naturally have blonde, fine, very curly at the nape to straight and frizzy at the crown. My bangs vary as you go across my forehead, but more curl to the sides, so bangs are an issue as well. I have a soft heart shaped face with chubby cheeks, long-slightly back sloped forehead, so bangs are a must.
At this point, I have my hair permed b/c I would like to ease into something that was more natural to my face, but EASY. I had it layered to give it more curl and less frizz and the last layer is right at my shoulders, but it's still causing me problems. It's either "crisp" looking or frizzy and to let it airdry takes FOREVER and never looks fixed at all.
I don't know if it's the styling products or my way of fixing it. I have tried at least 10 different products and have not been very happy with any of them.
I just really want a style that's easy and I have never had it. I spend way too much time in the mirror and if I don't, I look like I didn't. I have a busy life and don't have time for all this craziness! hahahaha
Thanks in advance for your help.
Christie
