Dont mess with yucky herbs they will reck the rest of your body. Take biotin, multivitamins daily. Condition your hair, avoid blow drying and flat ironing, gel, hairspray. I use by oil gel. avoid combing when dry, finger comb. I read in Curly Girl an awesome book, to clean with conditioner not shampoo, works wonders! Most importantly, DONT WATCH IT, LOVE IT !!!

I've been trying to grow my hair out for over a year now. Started with a very short, bad (on me) Halle Berry knock-off cut. I've tried the GNC UltraNourishair vits -- they worked well, but seemed to make me break out. I switched to biotin (along with my regular multi) and that is working better for me. My hair is longer and stronger. I don't measure, but I can tell by how it feels wet -- and it's looking longer dry, too.
I had that problem once (never saw that hair"stylist" again!!) and i was devastated... but i found a way that made my hair grow longer faster. It may sound weird (and its not gonna make it grow overnight) but u gotta work from the inside! Take a teen vitamin everyday, drink alot of water and natural fruit juice, and exercise! Trust me, i improved my diet and my hair grows fast now. Hope it helps- good luck!!
Some people get good results from MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) and Biotin. I'm not sure if it makes hair grow any faster, but definitely healthier and stronger. I have a friend who takes MSM and she was able to grow her fine hair very long and strong... to mid-thigh.
as i was talking about my really short hair in my other entry or whatever their called...... i asked my mom about things to make ur hair grow? and she said theres nothing you can do..so i dont know what to do know because i thought there was shampoos? or vitamins that you could buy? someone reply please
