For some people, a perm seems to go away after a while, leaving their hair in the previous naturally straight condition. Other people seem to have the problem you have - the perm looks great for months, then later the hair turns frizzy and damaged, just as you have described.
You could keep trying doing deep treatments, jojoba, and increasing your conditioning, which might help a bit. But it's probably not going to return your hair to anything remotely resembling a healthy condition.
If you relax your hair with it in this condition, you will probably fry it and end up having to cut it all off.
Perms don't work for you. I suggest you learn to live with your natural hair type.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

i permed my hair a year ago and now, it seems like i made a huge mistake. my hair is constantly frizzy after a shampoo AND condition AND deep condition it. not only is the frizz a problem, after my hair does dry (with serum in it, which hardly seems to make the frizz less of a problem), i have to put a ton of product in it to get my hair soft and moisturized, not to mention actually looking like its curly. ive tried a few gels, moisturizing creams, practically everything, and nothing ive tried seems to make my hair easier to comb and looking halthy and moist. also good shampoos and conditioners are hard to come by for my hair. right now im using garnier fructis for color treated or permed hair, and it seems to do nothing for my hair, except the fairly good smell. im thinking about tryin Pantene ProV Hydrationg Curls, but i wanna know first, is it worthwile? is it even for permed hair, or just naturally curly hair? i just really need some good products for my hair right now, or im gonna go crazy, and pretty soon so will my hair......... and 1 more question, is it okay to straighten ur hair after its been permed> not immediately after, but some months or in my case, a year?
