ummm, yeah. it looks as if those curls were done on straight hair with curling iron. you could try using the curling iron on your naturally curly hair, but i doubt it would come out like that. the tip about the hot rollers should work for you, or you could try medium velcro rollers and let the hair air dry. hth

you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)

Hi love bug,

I'm mitch5150. I've ben a haircutter/hairstylist since 1993. just to let you know how much experience I have. To achieve the curls you want set your hair in medium to large hot rollers all over your head and don't remove the hot rollers until you think the rollers have cooled down considerable. What happens is when you heat up the hair your opening the up the cutical of the hair allowing you to curl the hair when the hair cools this is what set in the curl because the cutical of your hair is closing locking in the curls after you take out the hot rollers style your hair to the desired style and spray your hair with a finishing spray or hairspray. If you have any questions you can email me at customonegtr@rock.com I would be glad to help you with anything you want to do with your hair.

Sincerely

mitch5150

i know this might sound ridiculous ( i thought so too) but first flat iron you hair until its bored stra8 then use curling irons to curl it to give it smooth and soft curls.

Hi,
Just joined but interesting to see how many questions there are on soft curls. We'd set on large rollers with a good fixing spray and medium heat dry. Make rollers are tight to the scalp to get lift and curls.
Brush out gently and use good finishing spray
Semi/Temporary curl, wave and colour creator: please try before any perm!

Hi, I have 20'' long hair, that is pretty naturally curly, but I'm wondering if it is possible for me to get just the soft curls, kind of like Jennie Garth/Amanda Bynes have on "What I like about You."

Or the soft curls at only the end of the hair, sort of like Jessica Simpson..

I have been looking for pictures to show you, but have been un-successfull.. if anyone could get a pic, and show everyone else, or jsut explain the best way for me to get them.. I'd apprecaite it!

My hair is: 3a, Fine, ii hair, currently 23" long.
Goal: Waist, or about 34".
