I EXPERIENCED SEWN IN EXTENSION......DIDN`T HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE FROM THEM. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE STYLIST DOESN`T BRAID YOUR HAIR TOO TIGHT B/C YOU MAY EXPERIENCE DISCOMFORT TO YOUR SCALP AND HAIRLINE BREAKAGE. IT DID HELP MY HAIR GROW SOMEWHAT.
I had a sew in once. I urge you not to get it done in one of those African braiding shops. They braid too tight! It litterally ripped my hairline out. It`s not worth it. It was painful and took a while to "get right" again.
I am trying to grow my hair out. I`ve given up on braids because everytime I`ve tried them, they`ve ripped out my hair. I did crochet braids 2 summers ago and my hair is still recovering.
I was thinking about getting extentions, using the method where you cornrow your hair and sew the wefts in, to help it grow and to give my hair a break from relaxing and heat syling.
Before I do it though, I was wondering what are the pros and cons of "sew in" extentions. And I know one of the cons is definatly the price... the lowest price I`ve gotten was $170. Ahh!!! :O
