A texturizer is nothing more than a relaxer that isn`t kept on the hair long enough to get it totally straight. I wouldn`t think it would be a problem to relax the texturized hair. The relaxer just needs to be left on a shorter time than usual, since it`s already halfway relaxed.
I have a quick question that I wanted to ask. A month and a half ago I got a texturizer put in my hair and I do not like it. I want to go back to my relazed haircut that I had ( a ultra short Halle Berry haircut), but I`m not sure if I can put a relaxer on my hair. Would I have to get the texturized part cut off and start with the new growth to achieve the straigtness or can I keep the texturized hair and just put the relaxer on my hair. My hairstylists used Affirm on my hair and I believe that is a relaxer. What can I do?
