Use a heat protection hair product that contains silicones [silicones end in the word cone]which protect the hair from heat damage because it seals and smoothes hair's cuticles layers.Overuse of silicones can cause buildup[residue].Heat damage can cause bubble hair which is damaged hair that looks like it has a tiny bead near the ends.
ultrasheen`s creme satin press is the best pressing creme out there. ive tried different pressing creams such as just for me and apex pressing oil but creme satin press has given me the best results. the press lasts longer and was shiny and straighter. So far ive only been able to find it in the small container i dont know if they make it bigger.

i press my hair and i either use wildgrowthoil,or Just for me Pressing Creme(the one in the orange top) because both is good and light for the hair and with wildgrowthoil you can also oil your scalp as well.
