My hair can grow in the middle of my back. Dreads has made my mom hair grow down to her butt, and if it wasn`t for them dreads her hair would still be at her shoulder blade.
Remember, Dreads are one of the keys to long hair growth, so if you see people with long dreads, that`s the dreads. dreads is the one of the best hair growth secret.

Not to be starting anything (I am serious) but am confused, Peach.
You`re asking if we think that your child will have long hair because you have long hair genes and the father has short hair genes.
But in another post, you said (I am quoting you exactly), "And look, if you have long hair, that just means you have long hair. I guess you was just bless with long hair, like I was bless with really hair anyway."
Now, since you said that, then why would you think that your child`s hair growth would be determined by genes? If she does turn out to have long hair, wouldn`t it be because she is blessed with long hair, and not because she has long hair genes? I don`t know. You said it, not me.
I personally think that if you take care of her hair, keep it healthy, it will grow to be long like yours. Also, you don`t have to rush and put a perm in her hair. If you do let her get a perm, make sure that you keep it up and put the right things in her hair. I hear that a lot of people use kiddie perms because they are milder, so that would probably be the best option for a child.
