i must say that by those last two posts we have two very intelligent african american sisters in our presence i tip my hat to you ladies those were some good responses.
Our hair shrinks when it starts to dry. It's natural. It's an adaption that we have for extreme heat environments (Africa). When our hair shrinks, it is to capture the moisture. Just make sure that when you comb it it is moist, not dripping wet, but moist and then comb/brush.
Ok yeah, in my pic, my afro puff was alot bigger but as it dried it shrunk to that size.
