Our hair shrinks when it starts to dry. It's natural. It's an adaption that we have for extreme heat environments (Africa). When our hair shrinks, it is to capture the moisture. Just make sure that when you comb it it is moist, not dripping wet, but moist and then comb/brush.

Ok yeah, in my pic, my afro puff was alot bigger but as it dried it shrunk to that size.

You know how raisins are smaller than grapes? Same concept. Your hair is drying up to its curling tighter. Keep it moist and they'll stay big.

how curls when u wet yo hair or gel it yo curls get big like mexican curls than later like 20 or 30 mins yo curls get small?
