Just regular drinking straws. Do they use straws in your area for drinks?

A straw set is when u section your hair, while wet and wrap it around straws. Then let it dry and take the straws out and go thru the coils with your fingers.

You can do any style you wish to do with natural hair. Straighten it, braid it, twist it, twist out, braid out, curl it, stretch it , shrink it, afro, afro puffs, curlly set, weave it.

If you go to www.nappturatlity.com and u don't have to be a memeber to look at the gallery, its on a menu to the left. People have hair albums and you can see different styles. There are also many naturals on this board, me and carameldiva are just a few.

Wow this post is old, i was transitioning. I cut off my relaxer in May and now I'm natural. I like this better. But I hope ya'll find the style that you want, natural effect scrunching, braidouts, rollersets, etc.

well... i perm my hair every 3 months as well and wash once a week. There is a spray called relaxer you can buy it at walgreens or a drug store.. All you do is spray it on your hair after you wash it or even when its dry and blow dry it while crinkling your hair with your hands and it looks great and natural at the same time...especially if you dont perm your hair often it lets your new growth and perm hair rest and blend in great cause of the crinkles

Hey! That sounds pretty good. I was just wondering what type of hair do you have to you have "black Hair" or does yor hair have a naturaly curly look without a perm. I have "black hair" and I have a perm but I want a way to give it a naturally curly look that will last without using any curling irons or cutting my hair off and letting it grow out and getting a texturizer.

Hello everyone i`m new to this board and i love it already. i`ve been wearing a perm for over 10 years now and i have no problem with it i perm my hair once every 3 months in between that time i wash my hair once a week which includes a deep conditioner. i`ve always roller set my hair then wrap it at night i would like to try something different . The other day i discovered after washing my hair i put infusium 23 leave in conditioner in my wet hair and left it to air dry after a while it dryed naturally and formed into a dry coiled curl it looks great!! if anyone out there has a developed a way of doing this and what products they use to maintain this look please share them with me.
