I'm not sure if either of you have read this book, but I found The Education of a WASP yesterday while wandering through the library. I highly suggest that you read it because it gives you a glimpse into how the other side thinks. Although I have little time to read for leisure at the end of a semester, I think I may finish it without having to renew.

Silly kid, one day you may experience the joys of being educated. Until take lessons when they are given, especially by your elders.

You can get it from any book store. I just read it a few weeks ago and it took me 2 days to read it. Try looking it up on line. I remember it had alot of great reviews back in the day. Don't let the cover fool you. It's a good book tho, I loved it. If you like it we can discuss it too.

O yeah, I just read another book called Hair Story: Untangling the roots of Black hair in American. This book is very informative and it starts all the way before our ancestors were shipped here to the USA. I recommend this book for all African Americans, it informs the reader about the history of terms, good hair/bad hair and why we been trying to have straight hair since.

Sorry about the long post. I wish alot more men read...some fool told me last week I was weird cause I had brought some books to read. As Fredrick Douglas said, knowledge is power, and the best way to keep power from us was to put it in a book.
