I know Wal-Mart is a dirty word right now but...they have a product called Hair and I've heard raves about it. It makes the hair stronger and makes it grow a bit faster. Also, i have hit the same wall as you. I read a book by Andre' Walker called Andre Talks Hair (he's Oprah's hairdresser). He said that we should sleep with our hair covered, preferably with a bonnet made of synthetic NOT cotton. It keeps your hair in place overnight and it keeps your ends from being dried out by your pillow. It's a good read!

Thank You sooo much, I will keep hope alive Iwas just looking at myhair today and it looks like it got a little thiner and shorter than before so I am going to wash it, and keep it in a pony tail for a while just to keep the heat out of it. I do have a couple of questions for you though, if you dont mine? 1) do you know anything about HF37 hair vitamins 2) how long have you been doing hair 3) and where is your shop in Los Angeles. I work in the LA area and live in the valley I could really use a hair dresser that will care for my hair as if it was there own. That is so hard to find these days people go more for the style and less about the health. Once again, Thank you.

I am a licensed cosmetologist out of Los Angeles and since that you have the ability to get hair the length that it is now is good, that means it is capable of growing. Don''t be scared to try hair pills to keep it strong. I get good compliments about GNC''s hair pills. Some hair can only grow a certain length before it has reached its max and will start breaking or thinning, at this point just keep your ends trimmed as they split and remember to continue a healthy diet with water. It could also be that you have reached a stressful point in your life, just try not to concentrate to hard on it growing, and just continue to take care of it, hopefully then you will continue to see the healthy growth.

I am joining the waist length hair club. I could use the support and any helpful advice. Right now my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders. i am trying to at the very least keep it there but it seems as if it's not strong and thining. DOES ANYONE have suggestions on what I can do to start a new life for my hair? How often I should wash? and does brushing it really help or does it thin the hair? I want to go all the way.
