There is not really a difference people can do that technique with any braids. I do french braid and cornrows and I do them the say way just a lil tighter on the cornrows
The difference is the way in which you braid it. Some braid under-handed or towards the scalp(french). And others braid over-handed or away from the scalp(conrows).

THERE ISN'T A DIFFERENCE ITS JUST HOWEVER A PERSON MAKES THEM IS DIFFERENT CAUSE SOMETIME MY FRENCHBRAIDS/CORN ROWS ARE PUFF SOME TIME THEY NOT...DONT KNOW WHY
my friend gave me cornrows, and they looked really good until one got loose and i tried to fix it my self cause i can french braid... now wats the difference between french braids and cornrows.. cause my "french braid cornrow" lol was flat and the rest "poofed" up.. how do i get it to "poof" basicly how do u cornrow and wats the diff. between french braiding and cornrows
