NikkiC, how long is your hair? I was thinking of using wax to style my hair but I unsure how well it worked. How do you style your hair when you use it?
I don't like hairsprays either to much breaking and alcohol.I use hair wax/pomade when I need it. When I want the feather look I use it or after I comb my wrap out if I have a few wild hairs I use it to keep them down.It holds your hair in place without it looking dry and dull and not stiff. I wouldnt recomend using it heavily on an everyday basis. I use a clarifying shampoo to rinse the build up out. I guess you just have to try it and find out if it is good for your hair or not.I have not had any problems with it yet.
should african americans use hair wax? I read on Halle Berries site that its good for holding styles, however not every african american has the texture halle has. I need something that will hold my styles but not make my hair hard and dry. I hate holding spray, it breaks my hair out.
