Did you take the advice of the deep conditioning and what were your results?

Even if you are relaxed, you should mosturize your hair daily and shampoo 1-2 times per week. good books to read are The Black woman's guide to beautiful, Healthier hair in 6 weeks(2003 edition) by carolyn gray and the black woman's guide to beautiful hair by lisa akbari.

hmm. Queen Helene Cholesterol and Hask n Placenta's henna and placenta are good for deep conditioning. I would start with deep conditioning every week with your favorite conditioner under a plastic cap and hair dryer or heat cap for 30 mins weekly. Next i if were natural and not permed i would rinse daily with water in the shower and apply leave-in conditioner afterwards daily. I would also invest in essential oils such as jojoba oil, olive oil, coconut oil, dabur amla oil, sweet almond oil. You also need to insure that you drink at least 64 fluid oz. of water daily and take a good multi-vitamin or vitamin regimine. I take evening primrose oil, biotin, msm, vitamin e, super b complex, ultra nourishair by gnc,multi-oil formula by gnc(can be substituted with flaxseed oil or fish oil),and l-lysine. Hope this helps.
