I don't really think tanning my head is a big deal, when I had cornrows no one noticed my head was lighter.

Well people no matter what ethnicity they belong to their head is usually lighter, some people scalps are their exact shade. But think about it this way, if you come out of the womb with hair and you have always had hair on your head, meaning your head has not seen the SUN lets say to age 15 or 20, wouldnt you be lighter too. Is your main goal to get a style or to get a head tan?

Eyy,
For anyone who knows,
I was just wondering if Scalps tan well? Because I see a lot of African/African-Americans with often a golden-brownish, to a dark-brownish skin tone, and when they have cornrows, the scalp is usually always lighter, or the color looks different to their face. I was just curious because I'm getting cornrows soon, and I just wanted to know if Scalps do actually tan and how long it would take... My skin isn't very dark at all really, it's more of a light golden-brownish color, atleast where the sun has been on it, my skin is actually quite weird, being very pale in some areas and crap but I'm not gonna get into that.

Overall, I just want to know Do Scalps Tan? How Long does it take? And why does the skin on the scalp usually look different to the face?

Thanks,
Peace Out,
Miatch
