Water

Oils can only help to moisturize your hair if your hair is damp so that the oils/butters can trap the moisture in your hair.

Also, stuff like s-curl spary and curl activator gel (water/glycerin based products) are very moisturizing.

hair butters or hair milk. shea butter, sal butter, mango butter, avocado butter are great moisturizers. Hair milk i like the one that i got from www.marleysown.com It works great you massage it in from root to tip. Hope this helps.
