Thanks cmesweet for the welcome! To Honeydoo,I thought about trying that conditioner because it's fairly cheap and I find that I have to use a pretty good amount of conditioner to do a CW...well...at least a big enough amount not to want to spend a lot to replace a bottle. I'm glad to hear that it works well. I'll have to check that out!

I'm glad!! I tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I loved it too. I used VO5 Strawberries and Cream. I plan on doing it more often too.
I have curly hair (a 3a/3b type). I tried a conditioning wash on Friday and I love it! It made my hair really soft and managable I washed and conditioned with Suave Naturals Milk and Honey Conditioner and during the conditioning phase,I mixed the conditioner with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil and it worked great! I plan to do a conditioning wash every 2 days and wash with a shampoo for color-treated hair (maybe Red Expressions by Pantene) at the end of the week. As for the rest of it,I'll probably put some Frizz-Ease serum in and see how it goes .
