make sure that you moisturize daily- i'd reccommend using a good hair butter or hair oil. Shampoo weekly and deep condition weekly. You may want to try the baggie method as well. Take a good multivitamin and drink at least 64 fluid oz of water daily.

lpchick, sounds like you're on the right track. I get great hair growth by using Optimum's shampoo and conditioner at least twice a week. Every two weeks I treat my hair with Optimum Hiprotech Reconstructor (this stuff is a miracle!). My hair was so damaged and breaking off until I started using the Hiprotech. Now it's strong and healthy. When I want a change of venue, I use Creme of Nature (also some good stuff). Good luck!

hi, i resently got my hair cut in about a month ago, it reaches my neck. i had to get it cut cuz of damage. my hair is growing little by little. when i was younger i had a lot of hair, but my mother always did my hair in braids i had really nappy hair but my hair still grew. but i never had a perm back then until the 3rd grade. now i thinking about brading my hair with my own hair not weave for it to grow and not break. is that a good idea or a bad? and how can my hair grow longer? i do eat right , drink lots of water ,work out and take vitamnins daily.
