Well when you plug the camera into the computer and turn the camera off and then on again.

Go to Movie Maker and select file>record> Then select your device

Well if you use the instructions I gave you yesterday it should connect automatically.

In the collections area, click the collection that you want to record to.
On the File menu, click Record.
In the Record list, click the source material type you want to record.
If your computer has multiple capture devices, you can click Change Device to select the capture device.
Depending on the type of capture device you are using, do one of the following:
DV. Use the controls in the Digital video camera controls area to locate the frame you want to photograph. If you are recording live from a DV camera, focus the camera on the object or person you want to photograph.
VCR or analog camera. Use the controls on your VCR or analog camera to locate the frame you want to photograph, or focus the camera on the object or person you want to photograph if you are recording live.
Web camera. Focus the camera on the object or person you want to photograph.
TV. Wait for the frame you want to photograph.
When the image you want to capture displays in the monitor, click the Take Photo button.
In the File name box, name the file, and then click Save. Your photo is saved as an image file with a .jpg file name extension and is imported automatically to the current collection.
Click Cancel to close the Record dialog box, or click Take Photo to take another photo. If you want to record other source material, click Record.

I hope this helps...
