Yeah, I don't think a flat iron should be used at that length. A few years ago when I had my hair cut short in the back, my stylist rollerset my hair. It stayed healthy and I didn't have any breakage.

Your hair don't have to be that long, but i would suggest u not do it at over an inch. You should be careful, u can burn your scalp and your hair. Frequent direct heat can be damaging.

how long should my hair be if i wanna try to hotcomb it and also is hotcombing bad for hair? my hair is about a lil over and inch
