Black and sassy has a oil sheen spray that is great for flat ironing.  It gets my hair stick straight and silky.

no, it doesnt sizzle. i use it on thouroughly dried hair. but b/c it has so much alcohol, i put some elasta qp mango butter on 1st as a 'buffer'.

after i put on the butter, i spray that section once, comb, and flat iron. perhaps you are using too much ?

weaveitup, does it sizzle when you use matrix iron smoother? i use it but i'm afraid that i'm not waiting long enough after i spray or that i'm spraying to close cuz it sizzles. Should I be spraying and then waiting a couple of minutes before ironing or what?

Any kind of heat protectant, to keep it from drying the moisture out. especially protect your ends. I personally like to use Iron anti frizz solutions heat protectant.

Is there something I should use with my hair when I flat iron it? Like a certain oil or something to prevent damage?
