rub pointer finger in your hair against wave pattern and it u feel the waves(cant really explain it)
when u brush it back it returns to normal

if you cut your hair verylow your hair is till wavy when it grows.
Comb it out with a comb then brush it again and it shoul be back to normal.
None of your hair sticks up.
Keep on brushing
