I am a HUGE Gwen stefani fan!! Our friend Keanu is the guitar
player who has been on her solo gig. I am always saying to my
hubby ask about Gwen, ask about Gwen..........He just keeps
saying she's one chick man!! As if we didn't know!!
Well the braid in the front is definitely on her head; it's basially a
cornrow. That track there would provide a base for any sort of piece to
be attached- a weft sewn underneath going back over her head, a
half-wig or integration sewn onto it, or even lengths of weft
stretching across the back of her head, with the ends anchored on the
cornrow on either side.
As for the tracksuit photos- it's hard to tell, as they're so small,
but that could very well be her real hair. She's had hair that color
and length for years now, ever since No Doubt were performing in dive
bars in Long Beach, and I doubt that back then she had the money for
extensions or a stylist with an army of hairpieces. :0
Yeah, I definitely don't think it's a braided headband wig. I've had
those, and unfortunately they never seem to lay flat on the head
*sigh*. From the looks of it, the braids are actually coming from her
scalp. I think Amanda and Shel are probably right about the synth being
incorporated right into the braids. :)
I've finished it chick, I'm just waiting until I've got some make up on before I take the frontal photographs because it was 11 when I'd finished it last night and I was absolutely knackered LOL. I love your hair chick xx
I reckon she's had her hair together with the synth braided into two sections at the sides and then jointed together underneath and then I reckon she's had some sort of clip in behind then or going underneath them if you know what I mean xx
OK, I finally found some photos from the Gwen Stefani SNL performance.
Anyone know what's going on with her hair here? It looks to me like the
front pieces are braided into a fall somehow (because I'm almost
certain her real hair is very short and fried at this point). But if
that's the case, I can't figure out how it's all attached:
