QuoteReplyTopic: thick bangs - HELP! Posted: April 07 2005 at 2:27pm
When your hair is drying, put a bobby pin in your hair to hold the bang back, then when your hair is dry and the bobby pin comes out, it should automatically stay to the side. Also, the side part is a must for your thick hair.
**Hair type: 2a, which is wavy and fine.
**Color: Naturally dark brown, currently dyed reddish brown.
**Length: below shoulder length

Quite bizarre here: a thread started by Emma, but the subject clearly is from Unar ...
Emma - as request: check your Private Messenger.
Unar: why not grow out a part of the bangs first (towards the crown)? Use a side parting to keep it easier away from your forehead. That way, your thick bangs get thinner and more manageable. To control thick hair wax can be more useful (and adds extra shine!) than gel or spray.
posted a few years ago about this, but i don't think it was ever followed up. i'm thinking of growing my bangs out, but i have very full and thick hair. my bangs do whatever they want to do, no matter how much spray or gel i use. is there another product out there that will control my hair? i really want to try a new style, but can't get my hair to cooperate. any advice would help! thx
