It just so happens I read in Elle magazines April edition the "Hair Savior Philip B" (whoever that is...I guess he does Charlize Theron & Nicole Kidman's locks) advises to: "Mix a 1/4 cup olive oil with a teaspoon of lavender essential oil and work it through unwashed hair...then hit hair with a blow-dryer for 3 min. After 20 min. work shampoo into your oiled head and wash out.
I actually haven't tried this yet, but it's on the agenda when I remove this set of extensions. I'm thinking about saturating my head with the oil and then removing the shrinkies to see if it makes for easier removal.

i noticed after i colored my hair this weekend, and i rode in the
convertible yesterday...that the back of my hair is....ICKKY! my
splits have splits.
so i'm gonna trim tonight and hopefully get rid of all that stuff...but
if you're supposed to get a trim every 6-8 weeks....is there any hope
of trimming while you're installed? i'm doing a human install,
not synth.
also...anyone have any suggestions for a deep conditioner that from the
kitchen??? i have suave 2 min miracle...but i want something more than
that even. I love doing "spa treatements".
also..anyone use Loreal Feria??? has it made your hair crunchy as well?
it smells so much more peroxide than other colors i've used.
has someone been swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool again?
