I used to have that problem when I lived near New Orleans and didn't have air conditioning.  With all that humidity it could take 24 hours for my hair to dry sometimes!  The only thing I ever found to do about it without blow drying was wear it half up half down to divide the hair into smaller sections so it could dry faster.  Actually, I used it to my advantage though too.  If I let it mostly dry, then wore it in a bun all day, it would be just like curling it on rollers and I would have fairytale curls on the ends for the next day!

Thanks, That seems like a good idea.  I'll have to see if our local pet store carries it.

Hi Char,

I love using a microfiber towel to soak up lots of excess water quickly.

Aquis makes a nice one, and you can also get some nice ones from one of the pet supply sites; I can't remember which one it was but will find out if you are interested.  They are really DOG TOWELS

but they look just like my Aquis, except a little larger and considerably less expensive.

Also, it helps to have two; use one and leave it on until it is soaked and then replace it with a dry one and wear for however long you have to spend on drying time.  Also, washing at night helps me and sometimes I sleep in my towel or with a big cotton scrunchie, looped up messy on top of my head; this gives me more waves.

Hope this helps!

Today I washed my hair around 6:30 in the morning and it still wasn't dry at 2:30 in the afternoon.  Is this normal?  My hair is only mid back length.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get it to dry faster without using a blow dryer?
