No problem, Kaila. I would still give the hair a rest in between colorings. Use a temporary color for today so you can go back to school with the hair color you want. Give it at least another week between colorings. I would still recommend a professional just this one time around, though, if you can swing it. :)
firstly, i haven't actually used the feria yet! lol. and also, the pinky colour that i have in my hair was probably exaggerated slightly when describing it here - it is still DEFINITELY the hair dye - cos its still vibrant and, well, VERY pink!! its just not the colour that i wanted. someone else who had used the same "smart" hair dye had said that theres went pink also.

Yes, some people can successfully color a second time over an existing color. BUT if you're seeing the color progression you're describing, then color has been stripped out of your hair...the dye (color) part of the Feria didn't actually take. It's washing out, and leaving you with stripped hair.
The undertone color to all hair is red. That's why when you strip color out of hair, it looks pink or light orange.
Get a TEMPORARY color (level 1 or possibly 2...but 1 would be better) to cover the damage for now. Make an appointment with a hairstylist to fix this. If you can't get the appointment for a while, keep using the TEMPORARY color. This will coat the hair without actually dying it. Get one with NO peroxide.
A good colorist can fix this but a boxed permanent color can't. Trust me, I know this from experience! Good luck!
last thrusday - 31st march, i dyed my hair with "smart colour - intense red fashion styling kit." this contains hydrogen peroxide in the activator. first day was fab! then the min i washed it, the water started goin pink, and has done every time ive washed it since! oh, i only used this as an undercolour to my dark brown hair.! anyway, its gone from red, to pink, to paler pink, to pale pink with orange tinges in it!!
so yesterday, i bought l'oreal feria colour booster technology in pure scarlet power. however, this too contains hydrogen peroxide in its developer!!!
some have said it'll be fine to dye it, some said not too...
what do you lot think?? DESPERATELY need help cos i'm going back to school tomorrow!! thank you!!
