It's hard to say. I don't think I have, but some of my friends who've been wearing DEs for years have mentioned that they think their hair is getting thinner. If that is the case, though, it's almost certainly from weight, and rest assured the hair will grow back. :)

I've used the 50 wave and wanted to try the curly.....Anything I should be aware of? Can I use my boars bristle brush on it or will it frizz? I also use the citrishine spray which seems to do well with the 50mm. I still havent washed the length (it's been 5 days) just the roots once.

Sorry if this was posted elsewhere, just wanted to hear some personal opinions.....

I ordered:

2 kupfer, 2 fichte, and as an undercolor (which will be a new experiment for me) 1 pack of naturshwarz.

The undercolor is nearly black so that will be soooo different for me but something I've been wanting to try.

This next time I will still use the braided in method but plan to only braid 2 inches and make my braids half the thickness of what I have now. My current braids are about pinkie thick. I really want to spend the extra time on the new braids, I'm already excited about the next install.

Somebody shoot me with a tranquilizer dart...fast!

On another note....kinda sad, but. I've had DE dreads in for a year now and my sister trimmed my bangs tonight and noted that my hair seemed thinner. I'm glad I'm leaving the front out with the loose but I know I will go back to dreads as I love em so much.

I hope having the loose in for awhile and leaving my hair alone at the hairline and temples will give it enough of a break to be able to have DE's in again.

Anyone else had a similiar issue?
