the cuticle is the outside of your hair, its like a slated roof, lots of tiles over lapping each other right to the tip, all in one diretion. 

Cuticle correct extension hair is hair thats all facing the correct direction, which stops it tangling and matting up.

Your natural hair's cuticle should already going in one direction.

I am going to attempt the extendtube extensions on a friend. Can someone tell me is there a precise way of positioning your own hair before applying the extension?
