By the way, I'm not sure that synth lasts longer, exactly. Of course, it all depends on the hair. I would say with high-quality synth, like the Prostyles Bridget uses, the hair should last for 3 months or so--at which point you'll need to redo them anyway. :)

yeah, i figured she would use the best quality synthetic (monofiber right?) and it says on her website they should last 3 months. she actually recommends synthetic over hh on her site

Boogiemama does heat-seals, actually, not pinchbraids, although they're obviously quite similar.

Her attachments are so tiny, and her installs are always beautiful. :)

oooooh - you are *so close* to Boogiemama!!  It doesn't appear that she charges an outrageous price -- at least IMO -- check out her site:

http://www.boogiemama.com/

I go to Atlanta to get mine done -- would LOVE to go to Bridget but it's just a bit too far!  Good luck!

edit: i see that is her, and she is located in Spokane :(

okay, so  from reading posts, etc. i think i would really like to try linkies/microrings. the thing is, i just moved across the country and don't know anyone out here who couldhelp me install them. could i call salons and ask or what? i really can't do it myself, but i want to buy the hair and rings myself, so eventually i can learn to do it. what should i do?
