i was thinkin da same bout da name of dis! U gotta brush dem. Brsuh da sides slanted at ah angle. u should connect.. i however have to brush str8 forward for a 360 connectage.

Or a better question would have been what are the directions you are supposed to brush in? But just brush your hair like you normally do. If you brush every single part of your hair in equal amounts, then waves should come there.
