I don't use hot towels, but a warm towel softens your hair and help melt the pomade in your hair. It allows your hair to move while brushing and it will still lay down.  Brush until your hair is dry and the pomade should harden. Then put your du rag on.

You might have to develope your own method. Try a few thing that some of my 360VETS suggest. Most of the people here know how to get waves and give good advice. Blazer15 have a good method. Holla at him on the PM.

how about finding out what works for yourself you try it how much times you want it but what counts the most is to brush

Ripzeek...do u gotta do that everyday for 'bout a week or so to see the results...I been tryin any and urrthing and nothing seems to work. My BROTHER used the same sh*t I used on my hair and he got his waves in about a week...and wasn't even TRYIN' to...he didn't even like brushin' his hair...ain't dat some sh*t? LOL

it works just make sure when ur brushing for waves never i repeat never break your wave pattern.
